"Bloodshed of the Islands," as it translates from the Hawaiian language, was a great battle that took place across West Maui between the new ruling chief, Kamehamehanui and his older brother Kauhi. After several days and much rivers of blood, Kamehamehanu ruled peacefully for years to come.
